"Life and Culture in an 18th Century Augustinian Monastery"
After a presentation illustrating “Life and Culture in an 18th century Augustinian Monastery,” guest lecturer Rev. Werner Grootaers, O.S.A. (left), stands with Rev. Daniel Doyle, O.S.A, assistant professor, theology and religious studies, at the exhibit on "Augustinian Daily Life, 1500-1800."
The special collections exhibit, mounted by Falvey Memorial Library in honor of Father Grootaers’ visit to campus on Feb. 15, was displayed on the library’s second floor, adjacent to Special Collections. Father Grootaers is from St. Steven’s Augustinian Monastery, Ghent, Belgium.
