Falvey Scholars 2006

Seniors who have accomplished exceptional undergraduate research will present papers at the Falvey Scholars 2006 event, beginning with lunch at noon, Friday, May 5 in Falvey. For the fourth year, Falvey will recognize outstanding student scholars.

The 2006 Scholars include

Lauren Ciancia, "Service Learning: Necessary but Not Sufficient in the Urban Quest for Systemic Change,” Faculty advisor: Dr. Rick Eckstein, sociology, Second reader: Dr. Robert DeFina, sociology;

Diane Coffey, "A Freirian Analysis of Millennium Development Goal 2: Universal Primary Education," Faculty advisor: Dr. Catherine Hill, education & human services, Second readers: Dr. Helen Lafferty, education & human services and Dr. Terry Nance, communication;
